Scripture Study

As mentioned before, when we read scriptures we always pick a key word to listen for and have the children raise their hands when they hear it. It goes something like this: "Let's listen for the worrrrrrrrrddddd....life." I always draw out the word 'word' as I skim the passage for a repeated or important word. Tonight when I said, "Let's listen for the word..." CharlyAnn looked at me and raised her hand high in the air! I was touched and amazed at how she has noticed and learned our pattern. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

Scripture study

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it." -Proverbs 22:6 I had plopped open our scriptures on the ground for family reading and left CharlyAnn on the floor near by. I left the room for a moment and came back to find her like this.

Then I got the camera and came back to find this:
Let us all be this seriously focused on scripture study!
